Quickstart
You don't need to be a wiz kid with a PC for use fishsim the next two pages show how easy and quick its to get a net full!
Bear in mind that this is fishing simulated. Each venue needs to be approached with the stealth and cunning that real fishing venues need.
For your first fishsim trip try following the tips below to see what I managed to achieve.
Do you want the help bar open?
When you play Fishsim we recommend that you click yes to this option. As a beginner any help is good! The next time you fish, if you wish to switch the help bar on again, go to OPTIONS click POST IT TIPS showing it as ON.

The pictures take a few minutes to download, but they give a real flavour of the game. So sit back and relax it's worth the wait!
Click GO FISHING
Click top menu bar (River Lot)
Select BORDER FISHERIES
In the next menu bar (SPECIMEN LAKE 2) select SPECIMEN LAKE 1
Click REAL TIME MODE button and change the month to August , day to 15th sometime in the early evening.
CLOSE
Click GO FISHING
your default rod will be a float rod . Now you are really ready to fish!!
Press 'C' on the keyboard to change your bait and select LUNCHEON MEAT. For loose feed choose MAGGOT and for ground bait choose BROWN CRUMB
